Student Recruitment
Summer Students
We do not have any plans to hire a summer student in 2008. However, we would be pleased to keep applications on file in the event that our requirements change.
Articling at TGF
TGF is a young, dynamic law firm committed to training students to become exceptional lawyers. We provide top quality files, hands-on experience, direct client contact and ample supervision. At TGF, students can expect to receive a comprehensive and rewarding learning experience.
Our articling program is focused on active student participation. As such, students are given a great deal of responsibility early on in their careers. Students can expect to:
- Draft pleadings and facta
- Prepare motion materials
- Appear in court on opposed and unopposed matters
- Conduct legal research
- Have carriage of their own small matters
Supervision and Rotation
Although students will have the ability to work with all lawyers in the firm, students are assigned two articling principals – one for the insolvency practice and one for the litigation practice. This ensures that students receive a broad exposure to both areas of law.
Compensation
We provide compensation that is competitive with large, national law firms in Toronto.
